Benefits of Refurbishing Instead of Replacing

In many cases, refurbishment can be a practical alternative to replacing a large or expensive valve, especially during shutdowns or where lead times are critical.

Cost Savings Can reduce cost compared with buying a new large-diameter valve.
Faster Turnaround Useful during shutdowns and urgent maintenance periods.
Extended Service Life Helps extend valve life where the body and main components are still usable.
Reduced Downtime Can help avoid unnecessary system shutdowns and long procurement delays.
Large Valve Advantage Ideal for large, costly or difficult-to-source valves.
Environmentally Responsible Reusing major valve components reduces waste where refurbishment is practical.
